From August 10 to August 24, 2025, Dr. Mitar Simić, a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, visited Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF) as part of the European CONSENS project.
During his stay, Mitar and colleagues from TUBAF carried out joint research on readout electronics for low-capacitance sensors, based on capacitance-to-frequency conversion.
This collaboration represents an important step forward in developing efficient and precise methods for capacitive sensor readout, which have wide applications in engineering and science. Together, the team exchanged expertise, tested prototypes, and improved circuit designs to enhance sensor performance.
